The deadline to apply for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) for the 2026 Fall B Session is September 11, 2026. It is critical that all eligible students submit their FAFSA application before this date to ensure they receive the financial aid they qualify for.

What is FAFSA? The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the application used to determine eligibility for federal financial aid, including grants, loans, and work-study programs.

Steps to Complete FAFSA: 1. Gather your documents (SSN, tax returns, bank statements) 2. Create your FSA ID at studentaid.gov 3. Complete the FAFSA form online 4. List Columbia College DC as a recipient (School Code: G25021) 5. Review your Student Aid Report (SAR)
